SENIOR QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER WEB PLATFORM & GAME

Experience & Technical Knowledge

• At least 5 years of software testing experience, including independent testing ownership of

a project or module from requirements analysis through release.

• Hands-on experience with Web Platforms, administration systems, or Web Games; understanding

of business flows and system interactions.

• Solid knowledge of testing processes, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques, including

boundary values, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, and state transitions.

• Working knowledge of client-server architecture, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, WebSocket, and

authentication/authorization.

Practical Skills

• API: Use Postman or equivalent tools to design and execute business logic, invalid input, and

unauthorized access tests.

• WebSocket: Read, send, and analyze messages; verify UI synchronization, reconnection, and

missing or duplicate events.

• Advanced Investigation: Investigate intermittent and complex issues using DevTools,

API/WebSocket traffic, and logs; develop evidence-based hypotheses to support root cause

analysis.

• UI/UX: Evaluate usability beyond design compliance and explain the impact of issues on users.

• System & Impact Analysis: Analyze end-to-end flows and dependencies; assess change

impacts to define regression coverage, including boundary conditions and concurrent actions.

• Test Strategy & Risk Assessment: Independently define the test approach, scope, and

priorities based on business risks, system complexity, and release timelines.

• Data Integrity & Business Logic: Validate multi-step transactions and state consistency,

including duplicate processing, out-of-order events, interrupted operations, and balance

discrepancies.

• Test Management: Use Jira or equivalent tools to manage test cases, track defects, and report

results.

• Test Data: Prepare and manage data to reproduce issues and validate complex business

scenarios.

• Compatibility & Network Testing: Test across browsers, devices, and unstable network

conditions.

• Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to clarifying assumptions

and identifying risks.

• Strong ownership and risk-based prioritization; follow issues through to resolution or a clear

decision.

• Communicate clearly with BA/PO, Developers, and QC; read technical documentation and write

bug reports in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Game testing experience involving rewards, multipliers, wallets/balances, and real-time events.

• Experience with transaction/payment systems or workflows requiring strong data consistency.

• Web/API test automation with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

• API/WebSocket performance, load, or stability testing.

• Experience mentoring team members, reviewing testing quality, and improving QC processes.
