- Liaise with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
- Preparation of working drawings including completed site plans, updating plans for mark ups/Amended Plan and Final Plan Review (FPR)
- Preparation of Modified Standard Plans (MSP) when assigned
- Ensure plans are quality checked and designs are compliant with relevant Australian Building Standards & client specifications
- Checking of covenants and council requirements prior to completing plans and ensuring plans are compliant
- Ensuring slab designs, retaining wall designs, bracing designs, steel beam designs, energy assessments are received and accurately entered
- Create detailed designs with computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Have a clear understanding about the progress, Design
- Ensuring dates and other relevant information are accurately entered into Framework as required
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
- Collaborate with other members of the design team to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly coordinated in a timely manner
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned
